Hospital refuses to draw blood for police cases

AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) -- Three days after Marble Falls police took their first driving while intoxicated suspect to the hospital armed with a search warrant for a blood draw, Seton Highland Lakes Medical Center in Burnet announced they will no longer adhere to the court order.

- Chickensh\t cop! Why not hold off until the dog bites, then shoot? I'd rather take a dog bite than kill a dog and wonder if it was necessary for the rest of my life? I think APD cops are overley sensitive for the community they police.

- Texas recently released a man that had been on death row for 25 years due to DNA evidence proving his innocence. Had the speed of his execution been on par with this offender's case, the state would have executed an innocent man.

- Good point Steve. Martin was under no obligation to obey any "orders", answer any questions or even acknowlege Zimmerman in any way. Zimmerman had less legal standing as a law enforcement official than a WalMart security guard. He is licenced to carry the gun however.
